After a teacher education and a study in Physical Chemistry at the University of Groningen, Frits now has around 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Starting as a validation engineer in the field of sterilization processes, he has developed over the years as an experienced expert and a bridge builder between Quality and Engineering.

Frits has gained extensive experience in areas such as Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, Computerized Systems (GAMP®, Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11), Sterilization, Aseptic Production, Validation Master Planning (both in projects and in policy for Qualification and Validation according to Annex 15), Risk Management, Change Management, Design Control.

Frits has always worked for local organizations within the Netherlands as well as for corporate organizations all over the world, where he has gained a lot of experience with the Dutch Inspection, Notified Bodies (among others TÜV), FDA and other agencies as responsible Validation Manager. Frits likes to share his knowledge and experience with all disciplines within the Organization from Management  to Shop floor. This is also an important reason for Frits to want to commit to training and education at PQT International.
