This training presents an approach for developing functional requirements / specifications using the models and terminology defined in the ANSI/ISA-88 batch control standards. An overview of the characteristics of production systems is included. Participants explore the ANSI/ISA-88 concept that separates the recipe of the equipment. The training includes an object-based approach based on ANSI/ISA-88 that the reuse of these objects from one project to promote the next.
